We loved planning this fall styled shoot wedding in New York with Kimberly Schuldt Photography. We knew that we wanted to put an earthy twist on the traditional fall theme, colors and details. I think that together with the help of so many others, we did just that.
Meet the amazing {girl-boss} vendor dream-team that joined us to make this shoot come to life. You know how much we love working with our friends and new vendors. It was so much fun to watch everyone bring their best work/talent. Scroll to see what came of everyone’s creativity and hard work.

The space that we were using was a blank canvas with some brick and industrial features. So we thought it would be fun to incorporate muted fall colors and simple natural details.
The ceremony site was simple with bistro chairs, twinkling lantern candlelight and a little bit of floral lining the aisle. This was the space where we wanted the floral backdrop to be the wow factor. A metal industrial grid backdrop was dressed up with soft colors of fall, perfect for a New York fall wedding. It created the perfect space for our couple to recite their vows. {Oooh, and this is a little sneaky peek of a new PLV backdrop – do you love it?}

This white grid backdrop is now available and comes in two or three pieces!
We thought that industrial hairpin leg tables would fit in this space perfectly. We wanted to carry out the theme from space to space. So we used the same bistro chairs that were in the ceremony location at the tables. To soften the look and add some texture to the table, we added a deep brown velvet runner. Simple white plates were adorned with pears that were picked from Adrianne’s backyard. A perfect fall touch, don’t you agree?
You’ve seen our classic farm tables but we were so excited to debut our hairpin leg tables in this shoot! Simple. Industrial. These tables comfortably seat 10 guests and complement so many pieces of our collection. We’d love to hear what you think!
Featured PLV Pieces: Hairpin Leg Farm Tables. Bistro Chairs. Brass Candlesticks. Terrariums. Table Top Decor. Colored Glass Goblets. Gold Flatware
We were sure to add in some vintage touches to this industrial space. The vintage pieces included vintage gold flatware, brass candlesticks, furniture, rugs, box spring light and more. All these sweet details helped bring this shoot to life.
Featured PLV Pieces: “Kendall” Sofa * Oriental Rugs
Fresh fall colored blooms were used for favors, seating assignments and extra decor on the tables. We loved this multi purpose display! We thought that they would be best shown on some simple gold and glass shelves.
Featured PLV Pieces: Gold & Glass Shelves * Milk Glass Vases
Notice the contrast of the old wood and metal sweetheart table draped in soft fabric? This was exactly what we wanted to show. We used neutral colors and textures, then dressed them up with the muted fall florals, pears and candles. All together, it set the scene for the sweetest table for two.
Featured PLV Pieces: Wood & Metal Industrial Table * Mismatched Wooden Chairs * Table Top Decor * Brass Candlesticks * Colored Glassware
The cake display might just be my favorite part of the shoot. We used an old dark vintage buffet and draped it in soft caramel velvet. This old and rusty box spring light is an old rental piece of ours. We have always wanted to use behind a dessert display. Adding some floral to the backdrop allowed us to keep the cakes simple. Stacy detailed these gorgeous and clean cakes with a tiny bit of gold. They really were the focal point of the whole thing.
Featured PLV Pieces: Boxspring Light. Clapton Buffet. Assorted Cake Stands. Brass Candlesticks
The bride and groom had more casual looks, but we think that the outfits were perfect for the vibe that we wanted to create with this shoot. The bride’s outfit was thrifted and pieced together that day. Gorgeous natural makeup and wavy braids finished her look. We decided to ditch the tie for the groom and we loved how this sweet couple photographed.
We hope that you love this shoot as much as we do! Make sure you scroll back up to the top and click on those vendors to see more of their amazing work!
