This past week was a hot one! But in between the heat and the holiday, we had a little drop in temperature. So were happy to collaborate with our friends at the new Sackets Harbor Ballroom. This new wedding space is just 10 minutes from our warehouse and right in the heart of town. Margaret, the proprietor, has updated the former comedy club next to Chrissy Beanz and made some amazing changes. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of a couple before and after photos, and I was shocked at the transformation.
The venue has yet to have a real wedding in the newly renovated space. So we were really anxious to set the scene and show you what the space could look like. I love a blank canvas and that is exactly what the ballroom offers. The venue has an ample amount of space, white and brick walls, and some original pieces from the building still intact.
Take a peek at our gorgeous shoot filled with tons of details! And make sure you stick around until the very end to see all of the talented vendors that participated! Early shout out to Jussara Potter Photography for the gorgeous photos and for making our pieces look so good.
If you’ve never ventured to Sackets Harbor, NY – you really are missing out. It is a quaint little town on Lake Ontario with the cutest shops, restaurants and so much charm. Sackets Harbor Ballroom is right on West Main street in the middle of it all. I already raved about the blank canvas and brick wall, but the outside porch area might be my favorite part of it all.
It’s perfect for photos, a sweet little sitting area or some cocktail tables. Also, the main entrance is lovely and that door makes for a darling detail, backdrop or photo op shot.
We brought in a few of our farm tables to set up. Of course, I instantly loved the way they looked with the brick and those big windows of Sackets Harbor Ballroom. For chairs, we went with our mismatched chairs for an eclectic, fun feel. But I know that our industrial bistro chairs or benches would be PERFECT in this space too.
We used our vintage style white charger plates with simple white plates and gold flatware. Kevin from Sherwood Florist added the soft and sweet flowers for contrast. They also helped to lighten up the tablescape a little bit. Eucalyptus and greenery brought the table to life, and our mismatched colored goblets gave us the pop of color we were looking for. Bella Figura created the menu cards that were placed on the linen napkins. She also designed the invitation suite pictured below in the details.

Sackets Harbor Ballroom has this huge bar which would be the ideal location for cocktail hour. We added some of our high top wood and metal cocktail tables for guests to gather around. They were a perfect match! This room would also be the best spot to set up all of those extra displays. Think desserts, cards and gifts, seating charts, favors and more. The room could be separated for cocktail hour by the big beautiful doors in between, and opened when it’s time to be seated for dinner.

I knew as soon as we were shooting at this location that I wanted to debut our “Bernard” sofa. Paired with our “Cecelia” chairs and gold accent tables, we created the sweetest lounge area for guests. Lounge areas are our favorite way to cozy up a space and provide comfortable seating for guests. And my favorite thing about them? – You can get some pretty detail photos, getting ready photos or bridal party photos here too.
In my opinion, floral is the thing that pulls the different setups and looks together. So we added some sweet accent arrangements to the tables to carry those colors throughout the venue. The florals really helped to finish each space. We recently added a whole bunch of concrete elements to our collection! If you look closely you might see some of our new gold dipped candle holders/vases.

You can’t have a party without the delicious apps and desserts. We love nothing more than when couples choose our pieces for different displays at their weddings. From desserts to appetizers and late night snacks, we have a huge collection of pieces in all different shapes and colors that can be used for your big day. Sick of seeing the same old rectangular table with a white linen? We’ve got you covered.
Michele from Embellished Catering designed this incredible display on our market cart. She was so thoughtful and intentional with her display. She even picked her own props to match the venue, style and overall look we were going with.

You have seen this piece before with favors and cookies. But this time, we added gourmet donuts from Britta over at Just Donuts. Britta just recently closed her donut shop to focus solely on her catering business. It has taken off – and we know why! Her donuts are incredible. If you’re asking me, my favorite one was the double chip donut with chocolate chips and crushed potato chips. Sweet and salty and so delicious. It was hard to pick a favorite.
Featured Pieces: “Holly” Hutch * Assorted Cake Stands & Accents
This shoot was full of sweets but can you blame us? So much goodness to go around. I loved how the light furniture in this space just popped against the brick walls. Fun fact: I actually keep this buffet in my house! My husband always says, “I thought we don’t rent pieces that are inside the house?” when he walks by and realizes it’s missing. Ooops. It was one of my first pieces of inventory and I love it so much. I just have to share it with you guys.
Monica over at Europe Cakes in Paddock Square made the assorted bundt cakes for this shoot. They were just what I imagined. All different flavors and sizes. We have worked with Monica before and she never disappoints!
The wedding cake was made by Katie at Belle of Buttercream and this naked cake was the sweetest. Thank you Katie for making this gorgeous cake and for your muscle and hard work always!

Kellie from Bella Bridal & Tuxedo Junction selected some of these stunning bridesmaids dresses for us to use and the colors were perfect. The bride’s dress though – to me – was so elegant and obviously stole the show.
We had a last minute cancellation for hair and makeup. So these two lovely ladies came through the night before to save the day. Thank you so much to Ashtyn McMichael for the flawless makeup and to Sasha Moore for the hair design. I highly recommend both and I know that these girls felt so beautiful because of you two.
It’s all in the details – and for the record, anytime you want to use my furniture to hold or display your flowers, it’s okay by me. Oh, and another thing – show us an empty shelf and we will fill it with pretty things.
Custom bridesmaids gifts and welcome box were created by Kelly at Bella Box Gifts. If you’re looking for custom gifts carefully curated with local items and personalized pieces, Kelly is your girl.
That cool laser cut donut sign was created by Chris Bova – If you are looking for any personalized signage for your wedding, event or home – you have to check him out!
