Heritage Barn Wedding in Hamilton, Upstate New York

Kristina and Bill chose the perfect Upstate New York barn wedding venue, Hamilton’s Heritage Barn, and rental company (that’s us!). They also chose a beautiful day to get married. The sun was shining and lent its radiance to the couple’s ceremony which was held outside in the lush Hamilton countryside. After they tied the knot, Alyssa Flood snapped some stunning photos of the couple and the bridal party. Then after photos were taken, everyone headed to the unique cathedral-style barn venue for the reception. Finally the day ended with dancing under the barn’s festive string lights. Allow us to walk you through Kristina and Bill’s ceremony and reception. You’ll see how we added some pretty little details to this heartwarming occasion.

Ceremony Details

There’s no doubt about it, it was a beautiful day for a wedding. For the couple’s ceremony, we used our artisan rugs to create a walkway to their arbor. The arbor was a stunning centerpiece and was adorned with beautiful florals and foliage from Silo Flower Co. They also incorporated our Blue Bubble Jars at the end of each row of chairs. The amazing florists filled the jars with dried foliage.

Ceremony

Kristina’s mom walked her down the aisle and gave her away, then shared a hug with her husband-to-be. Then, Kristina, Bill, and their chosen family members participated in a unity plant watering ceremony, symbolizing the roots of their relationship as well as the continued growth of the love they share. Afterwards, the couple said “I Do” and shared a tender moment under the arbor.

Lounge 1

Kristina and Bill chose our Perfect Lounge Package, which gave them the opportunity to put together two lounge areas for their friends and family to enjoy. Their first lounge consisted of our Peach Sofa, Peach Settee, and our Rusty Chairs for seating. Then we placed our Gold and Glass Rectangular Coffee Table front and center. Not only was this lounge as comfortable as it is beautiful, it also provided a great backdrop for photos of Kristina and her best girls.

Lounge 2

The couple’s second lounge consisted of our Marigold Loveseat, one of our Ginger chairs, and our Poppy Chair for seating. Our Round Carved Wood Coffee Table held florals in our Clear Milk Bottles and our matching end tables held our Mismatched Wooden Lanterns. Lastly, we completed the set-up with the addition of one of our artisan rugs.

Reception Details

Everyone was in awe when they stepped into Heritage Barn for Kristina and Bill’s reception. We used our Classic Farm Tables to make a king’s table in the center of the barn. Our Braided Charger Plates held each place setting and our Mismatched Goblets added a pop of color to each table. Additionally, the couple chose our Centerpiece Package. This package included our Glass Cylinder Vases for floating candles, our Gold Mercury Glass Votives, and our Clear Bud Vases. We filled the bud vases with florals as the finishing touches to each table.

Our French Cocktail Table held the stunning wedding cake made by Blueberries and Lace. Next, we brought in our Peach Settee and one of our Dusty chairs for extra seating. We also brought our Mismatched Wooden Lanterns which resulted in a rustic element to photos taken under Heritage Barn’s neon sign.

Dancing

Finally, Alyssa Flood took the most stunning black and white photos of Kristina, Bill, and their friends and family twirling around Heritage Barn’s dance floor. Also, can we talk about that disco ball?! What a fun addition to this classic space.
