Elegant Ballroom Wedding at The Highline in Rochester, New York

Kiona and Dustin’s wedding at The Highline in Rochester, New York was the picture of elegance. The couple had their ceremony in The Highline’s North Ballroom and their reception in the South Ballroom. Read on to share in their special day and see how Pretty Little Vintage Co. helped add some tasteful details to both spaces.

Ceremony Details

For Kiona and Dustin’s ceremony, we brought in our White Pedestal Risers to accent the walkway leading to our Triple Black Arbor. Stacy K Floral placed two beautiful floral arrangements on our pedestals and adorned our arbor with two more.

Ceremony

Kiona’s father walked her down the aisle and they shared a sweet moment before she met Dustin. Standing hand-in-hand, they said their vows and then “I Do.”

A Toast

Kiona and Dustin chose our Darling Display Package, which meant that they got to choose three of our beautiful vintage furnishings and received $100 in prop credit to create three displays. For their first display, we used our Gold and Glass Shelves to hold champagne glasses for all of the couple’s friends and family to raise in a toast.

Reception Details

For the reception, we brought in our Farmhouse Tables to provide more seating for friends and family of the newlyweds. They chose our Sweetheart Table Package, so we brought in our Roman Chairs and our Chevron Hairpin Table so they could share an intimate dinner together.

Dessert Display

For the second display in the couple’s Darling Display Package, we used our Midnight Black Buffet to hold their stunning, dark-toned wedding cake made by Scratch Bakeshop.

Lounge Set-Up

Kiona and Dustin wanted to provide a comfortable place for their guests to relax, have a drink, and converse. So, they opted for our Plush Lounge Package. For the seating in their set-up, they chose our Nina Sofa and Ebony Loveseat, as well as our Raven Chairs. They also chose to incorporate our Simple Gold Round Coffee Table, our Flower Top Gold and Glass End Table, and our Simple Skinny Gold and Glass Mirrored End Table.

First Dance

Kiona and Dustin were all smiles during their first dance. You can tell these two have fun together.

Cake Cutting

The couple cut the first slice of cake to enjoy together. Afterwards, the cake was sliced, plated, and placed on various cake stands for guests to grab a slice of their own.

Send-Off

Kiona and Dustin had a sendoff when they left The Highline. Their friends and family lined up outside, lit sparklers, and cheered as the couple shared a kiss in the middle of it all. Katia Popik snapped this spectacular shot of the moment.
