Industrial Yet Warm Fall Wedding Inspiration at Windmill Acres in Watertown, New York

Wood, whiskey, and leather make for a great trio! In fact they are what make this industrial yet warm fall wedding inspiration magical. We teamed up with a special group of vendors at Windmill Acres for this shabby meet chic design. We wanted the details to feel rustic mixed with modernity. To do this we enhanced the charm of the venue with velvet, leather, and wooden textures. Additionally we made sure to include deep colored flowers to add warmth to the masculine vibes. Our words really don’t do this look justice, but these photos by Donna Marie Photo Co. certainly do!

Seating Display

Dark colored vases sprouting with wild and richly colored flowers made up for one gorgeous seating display! The pieces set atop our wooden sawhorse table which looked stunning against the gritty barn backdrop.

Table & Table Decor

The good tablescape can make all the difference in your wedding decor. In keeping with the rustic, yet modern design we incorporated wooden chargers, gold flatware, and leather escort cards. The mix of textures paired with color of the floral table runner, accent pillows, and beautiful display of food would make any guests feel so welcomed.

Whiskey Bar & Cocktail Area

Windmill Acres has a great bar setup that we spiced up with some standing cocktail tables. In addition to the big bar, we added a little charm with a whiskey bar cart. It may be smaller in size, but trust us when we say it punches any wedding design with flavor in so many ways!

Sweetheart Table

There wasn’t a better sweetheart table more fitting for this aesthetic than our wood and metal industrial sweetheart table. The top of the table was decorated similarly to that of the larger tablescape with a beautiful settee to complete the look. It’s a vibe!

Lounge Areas

The bold modernity and masculinity of this look needed something a bit more feminine. Enter: a few regal pieces into the lounge areas! The detailing on the loveseats and chairs chosen for both of the lounge areas were incredible for this setting. Each of these pieces carry such a distinct look and yet look cohesive with the style of this shoot.

Cake Table & Dessert Display

Desserts are such a key part of a celebration. To make sure each had their moment, we had separate displays. The cake display was smaller, yet a big focal point. In keeping with the autumnal style, we had a pies hoisted on varying cake stands which sat on large wooden barrels.

Drink and Donut Display

What is a fall day without cider and donuts?! We made sure to include both in this inspirational celebration. This setup was placed outdoors and would make a great welcoming treat for guests.
