Charming Gilbertsville Farmhouse Wedding in New Berlin, New York

Emily and Patrick wanted their wedding day to be an experience, so they chose Gilbertsville Farmhouse as their venue and hired us to add our signature details to the farmhouse's one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The couple and their guests started the day by relaxing in their lodgings before getting ready. Once everyone was dressed in their best, they made their way to the milking parlor for the ceremony. After Emily and Patrick tied the knot, Victoria Boustani snapped the most adorable photos of the newlyweds outside of the hayloft. Once photos were taken, they met the rest of their friends and family at their charming barn reception. After having dinner and drinks, they danced the night away. Experience all of the wedding happiness and beautiful New Berlin scenery as we relive this special occasion.

Morning Of

Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a resort-style venue that you have full access to for three days and two nights when you book there. By resort-style, we mean that they offer on-site lodging for their guests to enjoy. Emily and Patrick stayed in a two-story Sweetheart Tent while their wedding party stayed in surrounding lodgings in the Glamping Village. On their wedding day, the couple and their guests enjoyed the morning in their lodgings before getting ready. Some chose to sit out on the porch and enjoy the sunshine while others took to hammocks.

Ceremony

Emily and Patrick's ceremony was held in what used to be the farmhouse's milking parlor. The interior was lit with twinkling lights that shone down on the couple's guests as they came in and took a seat on the hay bales on either side of the aisle. Everyone stood to watch Emily walk down the aisle where Patrick was waiting. The couple said their vows and then "I Do", sealing their promise to one another with a kiss.

Photos with the Kids

After the ceremony, the newlyweds had fun posing for pictures with their kids outside of the cheery red and white painted hayloft.

Reception Details

We had so much fun putting together the details for Emily and Patrick's reception. The farmhouse's wooden barn walls provided the perfect backdrop against our signature accents. Our first addition to the space was custom signage that coordinated with our Heptagon Acrylic Table Numbers we provided to help guests find their seats. Our second addition was our Classic Farm Table and Vintage Bentwood Chair duo. On each table, we rested the dishware on our Braided Charger Plates. We brought out our Mismatched Goblets to hold drinks and to add a pop of color to every table. The couple chose our High Tops and Pretties Package, which included centerpieces. The centerpieces we chose to add to the tables were our Gold Mercury Glass Votives.

First Dance

We couldn't help but smile as we watched Emily and Patrick share their first dance with their son.

Dancing The Night Away

The night ended with drinks followed by lots of dancing. We loved seeing everyone let loose and enjoy themselves.
