Industrial & Copper Styled Wedding Shoot at Smith Market
Fusing grit with glam, get ready for this industrial and copper styled wedding shoot to knock your socks off! Smith Market couldn't have been a better spot to bring together the vision of this creative team of vendors and we're pretty confident you're going to love these photos by HFPhotography as much as we do!
Rachel from Handmade Darling put this shoot together and we were so honored that she asked us to be a part of it. You can see all of the gorgeous hand lettered details that she added below
Welcome Area & Signs
The style of this shoot was definitely brought to life through the details, starting with the welcome sign that was hung on one of our copper sign arches. We have multiple copper pieces and usually hang acrylic, fabric, paper and wooden signs like this one! This was perfect to go along with the slightly edgy, yet modern and romantic feel.
Wedding Escort Card Display
I absolutely love the simple, yet modern table display - our white grid was a perfect match and popped against that brick wall. We have three of these free standing panels! Utilizing our white grid wall, trendy stationery designs were clipped and dressed up with the prettiest flowers and two accent pieces. This required much less work than setting up a traditional escort card table and is perfect for couples who are looking to think outside the box.
Ceremony Decor
Wanting to enhance the features already in place at Smith Market, we propped up our Copper Arbor Arch with the exposed brick popping through behind it. Additionally, bistro chairs were used for seating and to say I was loving the vibe was an understatement. It was minimal yet so chic!
Tables & Table Decor
With a shoot as stylish as this one, we needed a table design that was anything but ordinary. Our bar height hair pin table & black tolix stools did the trick! In keeping with the mixed metal throughout, brass candlesticks and geo shape terrariums were placed on top with a boldly colored centerpiece bringing the perfect amount of color.
PLV Pieces: Bar Height Hair Pin Table * Black Tolix Stools * Brass Candlesticks * Geo Shape Terrariums
Mule Bar
What would a copper styled shoot be without a signature copper mug? That's right, a mule bar was a must and I love how it all came together! Did you know that we rent these copper cuties? They make amazing accents on tables, bars and signature drink stations!
PLV Pieces: Rolling Industrial Cart * Mule Mugs * Vintage Decanter Bottles
Lounge Area
In creating this lounge setup, we decided to add more textures into the mix with wood from our industrial train cart coffee table and a little velvet softness with our willow sofa. Playing with textures is a great way to add dimension to a space and this lounge area really proves that! How cool is that garage door? This space was the cutest.
Cake Display & Jars
We saved the sweetest part for last. Our market cart was styled into a divine cake display utilizing various cake stands from our collection. Handmade Darling completed the look by hand-lettered the metal sign right above it saying "let them eat cake." Plus, those cakes by Belle of Buttercream could not have looked or tasted any better!
