A Moody & Romantic Wedding Styled Shoot at The Lincoln Loft & Studio in Downtown Watertown,
It's weird - a week and a half ago we were with our wedding vendor friends creating this wedding magic on the same day they decided that all non-essential businesses were to be shut down. It feels like a really long time ago and what a weird few weeks it has been. We hope you guys are doing okay and staying safe and healthy. You might have noticed that we have a little more time on our hands to blog and couldn't wait to share this styled wedding with you.
This is one of the first shoots in our new studio space and let me assure you that there will be many many more once we can all be together again. Plus, we have LOTS of new inventory to show off. But until then, we have these pretty pics to hold us over. We hope that you love it as much as we do. Some soft and sweet details with a little mood and some pretty black accents. Make sure you scroll to the bottom to see all of the amazing vendors that made this shoot possible.
Ceremony
This space is light and bright and doesn't need much if you ask us. We used the bentwood chairs from the The Lincoln Loft, added some pretty turkish rugs {new inventory - coming to the site soon} and gorgeous greenery around the window. Our favorite part? The downtown view in the back.
Dining Tables
If you've followed us for a while, you know that we are all about layering and the pretty little table top details. Our handmade farm tables (shout out to Papa's Wood Shop) were the perfect neutral base for this pretty tablescape. We loved the texture and look that the Himalayan shot glasses { lettered by the ever so talented Handmade Darling } brought to the table. That is a favor we can get on board with. Check out the details below!
Pretty Pieces: Braided Charger Plates * Gold Flatware * Brass Candlesticks * Smoke Goblets * Matte Brass Votives * Small Wooden Bowl Collection
Guest Table
Our guest table was long and dramatic and was adorned with some of our amber bud vase collection. It was so refreshing to see something a little different. While we LOVE the eucalyptus garlands and runners, this was simple and sophisticated and bud vases are so fun. This look was simple and sweet and could also be used in a bridal or baby shower, dinner party, or even a workshop/meeting and with the switch of the blooms - you could have a totally new look.
PLV Pieces: Wooden Charger Plates * Pink Goblets * Gold Flatware * Amber Bud Vases
Black Lounge:
We are so into black this season. Actually, we've been into black velvet for a long time - but we're seeing it make it's way back into weddings again and couldn't be happier. To us, it's the perfect and classiest neutral tone - you can't go wrong. Plus it brings little mood and romance. Don't be afraid to mix it up and do something a little different.
Pretty PLV Pieces: Ebony Settee * Midge Chairs * Rectangle Wood & Metal Coffee Table * Hairpin End Tables * Amber Glass Bottle Collection * Large Jute Rug
Sweet Little Lounge
Cozy little corners are made for sweet little lounge spaces like this. Don't you think?
Pretty Pieces: Gemma Settee * Bebe Chair * Opal Chair * Mid Century * Hairpin End Tables * Matte Brass Votive Holders
Sweetheart Table
If you're going to have a table for two, you gotta make it cute. Our new hairpin chevron sweetheart table is SO fun and different. We have one with turned legs too. You're going to love it.
Pretty Pieces: Chevron Hairpin Sweetheart Table * Roman Chairs * Braided Chargers * Brass Matte Votive Holders * Smoke Goblets * Wooden Chargers * Gold Flatware
Champagne Station
We are seeing these bubbly bars more and more and we're not mad about it. We use our shelves a lot for champagne stations but the truth is - these cute shelves {along with our golds and white shelves} are PERFECT for desserts, favors, memory tables, cards/gifts, bar backs and so many other things.
Pretty Pieces: Wood and Metal Shelves
Cake Display
Guys, ditch the plastic table and linen and go for something that will wow your guests. We found this pretty piece this winter and painted it a charcoal color to die for.
Pretty Pieces: Charlie Buffet
Sweet Little Details
I love styled shoots and how all of the vendors bring out all the stops. Handmade Darling added all of these sweet details and we can't get enough of them.
How cute is this little bell? Ring for a kiss! Some sweet and simple details that really pulled this whole shoot together.
Attire
I saw this gown at Sweet Hello Bridal's open house and knew it would be PERFECT for this styled wedding shoot. Katie helped us pick out a black suit and these two were an amazing match. So classy, soft and sweet. We love a little moody vibe because it's so nice to do something different. The leather jacket that was painted and lettered by Rachel was edgy and different and so much fun.
How about that bouquet? Vinnie sure does deliver. Those toffee and blush roses are the soft and sweet contrast we dreamed of against those pops of black!
Oh hey - a little sneaky peak of our updated Bennett chairs. We had these cuties updated from a faded blue fabric to a masculine, worn, brown leather and we can't help but think this pair would be ideal for a cigar bar or cozy outside lounge. Someone, please - do an epic sweetheart table with these guys. Make my day!
