An Elegant White Barn Wedding with Sweet Pink and Linen Details in Upstate New York
We were thinking about ALL THINGS SPRING when we started planning and designing this wedding styled shoot. We knew that we wanted to keep it light and airy, add some pops of mauve and blush with gold accents but also use a lot of wooden and natural pieces to bring out the rustic beauty of the barn. We hope you love this whole design as much as we do.
Styled wedding shoots are one of our favorite ways to get creative before busy season, work with some old and new vendors friends, debut some new inventory and show off some different ways to use our pieces in ways you might not have thought about before.
This was a vendor dream team that we would love to work with again. Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom to see all of the amazing people that made our vision come to life!
Ceremony
We absolutely LOVE this space. The natural light is amazing and helped create some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen! When setting up this indoor ceremony location, it was obvious that these doors would be the best backdrop for the bride and groom. The wooden beams frame the space perfectly and we love that all of the pieces that we brought in, really popped in the blank canvas barn. By using our white grid backdrop panels against the light colored walls, the florist was able to create this whimsical floral installation which we were able to reuse after the ceremony. Pretty dreamy, right?

Cocktail Hour & Bar
What better place for cocktail hour than on the patio, outside? We brought in our new chalkboard bar to be personalized alongside our super popular french bistro cocktail tables. The views were amazing and we only wish that we had time to sip a cocktail and enjoy the space a little longer.

Table Setting
Setting the table is my favorite part. We set the table with clean white plates and gold flatware with some vintage flair. We brought in the pinky tones with the napkins, taper candles and glassware and added gold and metallic details to include napkin rings, tile place cards, brass candlesticks and more. The florist added some branches that created a super natural feel and we LOVED how it all came together.

Lounge Love
Soft and sweet and all kinds of pretty linen pieces. We showcased our natural linen line and let the flowers be the pop of color. PLV tip - think about the photos you want and what you're wearing. Since this bride was in a colored blush skirt, we wanted to make sure the lounge where she was sitting didn't clash with her gown. Another PLV tip - as seen on our Instagram feed- always add flowers to your sitting areas. They complete the look and help carry your colors throughout the space.
We are obsessing over our new carved white and wood tables. We never thought of mixing them together what we became totally inspired on sight to mix them up and WOW - we love the final lounge product.
Featured PLV Pieces: Jane Sofa, Evelyn Chairs, White and Wood Carved Table Collection
Is there a blank spot in your venue that needs a little extra something? Pop in a couple of pretty accent chairs and an end table to create a sweet little seating vignette to fill in the gap.
Desserts
There is always room for dessert on our vintage furnishings. We picked our classic wooden "Clapton" buffet because we knew the contrast against the light walls would be everything we dreamed up for this shoot!
After the ceremony was finished, we repurposed the ceremony backdrop as an accent piece for the sweets. If you have an on site decorator or coordinator for the day of your wedding or event - we love this tip.
Check out these cakes and sweets. YUM.

Favors for your favorite people. Make it pretty and make a statement. Usually you have quite a few favors to display so we are happy to recommend some of our bigger furnishings to get the job done right and suggest perfect ways of styling them!
